Now a days it is hard to find a person who doesn’t have a cell phone and it has become a very vital thing. A lot of advancements have happened in the cellular arena and the cost of cell phones have also become very affordable. More than the facilities have increased a lot and you can do lot of stuff with the cell apart from the normal talking, pictures and music stuff. The thing is there are lot of add on accessories which will make your phone more usable.

I own a sony Ericsson phone but the point is i don’t make the best use of it. A lot of wireless applications can be invoked and for the past few days i have been trying out some stuff. One of the most important things is to get good cell phone accessories to get the best value. I was searching for some good accessories and stumbled upon the Cellular Blowout store. There have a very good collection and you can search for the cell phone accessories by a particular brand and this will make your job much easier. So from now on stop using your phone for just the basic features and explore it to find what all it can do.

    Cellular Blowout is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The did not deliver the product I ordered. When I eventually canceled my order, they never gave me a refund despite all attempts to call and email the company. I eventually got on the web to look up the company and found hundreds of complaints against them. I looked them up in the Better Business Bureau. They have over 750 complaints against them and a score of “F”! I also reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Los Angeles County District Attorney. For everyone out there who has been scammed by this company and is VERY angry, report them. It is the only thing we can do. Maybe, if enough people report their shady business, we can get their website closed down.

    I received a response from them today. If you call 1-818-889-1789 ext. 203, you actually get to the owner. His name is David Bleedon. I also found his email address it is as follows: bleeden2000@yahoo.com. I also found out the parent company’s name is Strathmore Investments. Their number is 1-310-704-7605. I sent a bunch of emails and called all these numbers for an hour straight filling up his voice mail. Then, all of a sudden they call my house number. I am receiving a refund. Make sure to request that the funds are deposited back into your Paypal account not mailed to you. I hope this helps

    I guess I found this page a little too late. I ordered my phone and got the same empty promises as JOCCI, out-of-stock, back-ordered; all just lies. I attempted calling them repeatedly but was never able to talk to an actual person, just voice mail. I cancelled my order and received a reply saying they were sorry and would credit my account within 3 business days. After a week, no refund, so I contacted them again and was told my cancellation would be resubmitted to their ‘refund department’. Now, here it is a week later and guess what? Still no refund! Luckily I had used a credit card and have just filed a fraud complaint against the charges, so I should be getting my money back. Now I’m going to report them to both The Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau.

    Cellular Blowout is a scam they charge your credit card at the time of placing an order, instead of at the time of shipment like most web based companies.. I waited 10 days, received NO information on shipping or tracking. They are impossible to contact via phone,email – if you contact them using their website you will receive an automated respone to your email. My credit card has been charged, I have tried to cancel my order via email, I still haven’t received the product nor a refund. Be sure to pass the word so these people will be shut down and hopefully charged with Fraud!

    Total scam. Charge you, and then tell you ten days later that your phone is on backorder.
    No one picks up the phone. Call David Bleeden, (above) search him on the internet, find his business acquaintances, and inform them all of his style of doing business. Mediaplex for one, is said to have a partnership with his company.

  14. This company is a total scam…they are professional scam artists. They steal your money and do not give you what you ordered. They are literally getting away with stealing from customers online. They should be forced to shut down this website.

    I called and you guess it, no one answers the phone, left emails that no one responded to, etc…

    I filed with the BBB but since they are not members they are not obligated to respond.

    They recommended my next move is to contactact the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357 which I will be doing.

    I ordered few phones and they were all refurbished phones.
    It is hard to find their phone no.
    I hardly found their phone no. at my cart.

    I called them and they did not answer at all.
    If you oder from this guy, you will meet same problem.

    Do not order or you will regret.
    Definitely, you will receive refurbished phones.

  17. It’s the same story for me as above. The website looked legitimate. I payed with Paypal and the money went to Cellular Blowout immediately — but, here it is December 19 and no phone and no refund even though one was requested back on November 28. A little research would have uncovered all the bad press. Unfortunately it cost me $124 for this lesson to “look before placing that internet order.”

  18. I too have ordered a cell phone with this company back in November. I was told the exact story verbatim as everyone else. First lie was it was available, then backordered, then never had a problem with the parent company don’t know why its not here. Next email is that three days, then next week. Here it is December 19th no phone and then their number dis-appears from the site and all you have is the email. The owners email is bleeden2000@yahoo.com and yes he goes online, I happened to catch him up there today and chatted with him with a few choice words. I also contacted my credit card company and reported the fraud. The owner had someone call me from their 818-889-1789 number and she says oh the phone will be here in a few days do you still want a refund. I said send my money and keep your phone that I will never receive. Do not order anything from them you will be OUT OF YOUR MONEY. Mind you I have a learned a costly mistake.

    Hello I have had the same scam pulled on me from this company. My items were backordered for more than 3 months BUT I followed the earlier posts and contacted the owner and low and behold I DID get a refund and it actually posted to my account today I am so happy to be done with this company and will not ever deal with them again.     i was scammed too. apparently this is their strategy. you order (it says “in stock”). you never receive the phone. you call and mail several times. never a response. finally you say the magic words “fraud”, “contact credit card company”. you get an immediate response asking whether to cancel. you get charged for “refund” for nothing. this is what you have to do. do not waste your time and contact your credit company IMMEDIATELY. you will get the dispute. you are not the only one who got scammed by these people. the website even mentions “not to contact your credit card”. the credit card recognized this as fraudulent charges and i got my money immediately and this company is in the shit list. happy ending.

    WOW I WISH I WOULDVE CHECKED TO SEE IF THE COMPANY WAS LEGIT BEFORE I ORDERED A PHONE. THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME. I ORDERED A PHONE DECEMBER 27 HERE IT IS JANUARY 20 AND STILL NO PHONE THEY ALSO SENT ME AN E-MAIL SAYING MY PHONE WAS ON BACKORDER. WHEN I CALLED I NEVER GOT ANYBODY.     What is the most logical legal action that I can take.

    I was scammed for about $200, but more than that, I can’t stand the fact that a company like cellular-blowout that scams people is still in the business of scamming people, even after a number of people have already been defrauded.

    If anyone has any ideas on taking an action against this company, let me know.

    Thanks to the person who published the owner’s email addy (bleeden2000@yahoo.com ). I emailed him to cancel my order (saying I had already contacted my credit card company and that I am an attorney and would contact the Tennessee’s AG office!). He replied to my email — order canceled, charge refunded). Someone later called me re: my complaint of no response to my multiple requests for order info. She acted surprised that nobody had responded. Right! I found the same phone for a little more on Overstock (whom I trust).

They wasted no time in withdrawing the money from my account and all I got was the item was on backorder or it will be here in 4 days, ect, and never got a thing… I wish there was a way to stop this page, Its ashame that they can get away with this… Well im out $300.     I wish that I had found this website before I ordered my phone. It was the same story, phone is backordered and every so often an update saying that it is still backordered. I fell for the same crap of do not contact your credit card company. I will be contactin the owner and hopefully will be able to get a refund. This is absolutely the worst company that I have ever dealt with.

    Everything said in the prior messages are ture. No customer support, the phone numbers listed are answered by computers -not real people. You get the computer run-a-round. We were looking to purchased a new cell phone for our 13 year for Christmas – even paid extra for 3 day delivery. Well it’s Feb 17, and still no phone. My wife and I have both sent emails requesting status updates on the order. We have gotten 3 emails – first one said their shipment was held up at customs, the next 2 said said the same thing “We are sorry for the delay….called their vendor to put a rush on the order….we should be getting them in a few days….should ship out no later than the end of next week.” That was on January 20th – we have and had been very patient – I gave them until February 16th or cancel our order. SO what I’m gathering from the other disguntled buyers is I need to go through my credit card company to get my money. It’s companies like this that have driven this country into the dirt.

    I had the same problem with this company and I even called the owner and got no response. I called 1-818-889-1789 ext. 212 and got a really rude man on the phone but he did transfer me to a woman that tried to push off my complaint saying that I had to contact the refund department and I told her it was unexceptable. I told he I wanted her to take care of the issue NOW. She tried to get me to take a phone and I refused stating I WANT MY MONEY. I had a refund to my account in 2 days what a surprise. I wouldn’t do business with this company they are a scam….unless you get a real person on the phone you will never get a refund or a phone. GOOD LUCK

    If you have an order pending with these people, do not wait for replies or refunds from them…call your card company and despute the charge NOW. Do not let your money sit one more day in CB’s bank account. They gave me the song and dance of backorder, be shipping end of the week…for nearly 1 month. No phone contact, no email response…nothing. In the end it took disputing the charge on my card to get my money back. They are scum out to take you for a ride.

  37. I decided to inquire after my girlfriend suggested that I google the scam company. I found this website after they sent me a confirmation email with no tracking #. Thank God I found this page and I read your reviews. Luckily I stumbled on this and called my bank immediatley I was able to find the real confirmation # (they actually gave me a fake one) but they included the real con # in my ” order confirmation email” the online banker was able to help me look for the number I found in a sequence it’s a six digit #. They were able to cancel my transaction the transaction because we found the #. Thank you to whoever started this sight I will just order my replacement cellphone through my cell phone company. I costs more but at least I won’t get ripped off thank you again.

Please do not purchase anything from this company…you will not receive it they will charge your credit card and send you a authorization number, then tell you your phone is back ordered, this allows them time to collect the money from your credit card. You can not contact them by phone, these people are aweful.

    I have had the same problems. I received one of two phones (refurbished) and never received the second at all. They canceled my order because they were not taking or filling orders from paypal. They already had my money. Do not buy from this company! They are a sponsored seller on Ebay if you want to complain. I will contact whoever I can to get them off Ebay also.

I purchased a cellphone and accesories 11/18/2008 through paypal. they finally delivered a phone but its screen had a crack through it . there customer service email gave me a return number #RMA and said they would email me return postage tag, which didn’t come. so i sent it back by 2 day express so i would have a tracking number and they had to sign for it. i asked about another replacement phone. they said they didn’t take paypal billing any more and would refund my money which has not happened. i have never recieved the cell phone accesories i ordered either. one of the times i emailed customer service the response i got was read the fine print ass hole no refund. cellur blowout is a rip off, they have 151.00 of my money and my son didn’t get his christmas present and as today 3/11/09 i still have heard nothing from them. so i am going to report them BBB,california attorney , the differant places this person has sent me to report them to. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN THEY ARE RIP OFFS

    Well, have been scam too. I place my order since janurary 30th. I was told the same story back ordered or out of stock and asked if i wont refund. You can only get response by email and nobody seems to work at the customer service department. I call last week and dial the wholesale exitence someone response to that line and said he only works at the wholesale department and can not help me. just this morning i receive email from someone call CSgenie said someone will call me today or tomorrow.

    I got ripped off too. I just got off the phone with my credit card company and explained what happened. The person said that my account would be credited within 24 hours. I guess the credit card company will then deal with the a-holes at CB. I think the thing that tricked me into trusting CB was that they came up at the very top of the Google search and I thought that Google wouldn’t allow a scam outfit to show at the top of their search. I was wrong about that and will be more cautious in the future.

    I can only echo all the other complaints about Cellular Blowout. They take your money, don’t send the requested product, don’t answer phone calls or emails, don’t reply to requests to cancel and refund. The problem is that they’re getting away with it over and over, and if you complain to your credit card company the onus is on you to prove that you were cheated. Why don’t the credit card companies stop paying them?

    The lesson: do your homework before you buy anything online!!!

  51. i order a phone 3/12/09. as soon i seen this website. i immediately ask for a refund and contact the email up above david bleeden, and at there web site,and called the number and actually the emails that i did receive. they said they sorry it is in customs, and they offer me a free car charger for the delay.but never talk to noone,and it did go voice recording. i receive a email saying they are not a scam, and do i believe everthing you read on the internet. and said you are refunded already.
    i do believe that all these emails are real. and i did a search for the web site, it started to come up cellular blowout scam.

    I’ve got the same story as everyone else. Today I demanded a refund from David Bleeden via e-mail threatening legal action and a visit from television consumer watchdogs. We’ll see what happens. Thanks to everyone and I hope you all get your money back.

    I e-mailed Bleedon on Sunday. Check out the email response I received today to my demand for a refund from “the Cellular Blowout staff”…..

    “Valued Customer,
    At this time we are unable to issue a credit back to your credit card from this facility. The credit card processor responsible for charging your card has dissolved their relationship with us and we are left without the system necessary to distribute the funds back to your account. At this time, what we suggest is that you call the number on the back of the credit card you used for this purchase, explain to them that the merchandise was not received, the order has been canceled, you have received this letter, and you want to dispute the charge.
    We sincerely apologize for this trouble. If you need further assistance please submit a new ticket with the subject of refund due. Thank you.

    This company is a scam! A few days after you place your order you’ll get an email saying that they do not currently have the item you ordered. You must follow the steps to either cancel or change your order. I cancelled my order in early Feb. (just a few days after placing it) and I requested a full refund. I have not received my refund. I tried to contact them and only found a customer service form to fill out on the website. I tried that a couple of times, but never got a response. I searched the entire website and finally found a phone #, but when you call you get an answering machine. I left 2 messages requesting an immediate response, but still nothing. Then I responded to the email that sent me my original order, and got a response saying that the email address was no longer used for customer service. They directed me back to the form on the website for assistance. I told them I was turning them in the BBB and would be posting complaints online, so they finally sent me an email. And it says they can’t issue me a credit b/c the credit card processor has not released the funds. They suggested that I call my credit card and dispute the charge. I did and found out it could be another 120 days before anything is settled. I did file a complaint with BBB.
    Warn everyone you know…DO NOT USE CELLULAR BLOWOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Same exact thing happened to me. Web site said phone was in stock. I didn’t get it, they said it was out of stock and to please wait and they’d give me a new charger. I tried calling and it’s an endless loop to voicemail. Impossible to get person on the phone.

    They finally sent email:

    “Valued Customer,
    At this time we are unable to issue a credit back to your credit card from this facility. The credit card processor responsible for charging your card has not released the funds from your order to our company, which leaves us with no funds to refund your order with. At this time, what we suggest is that you call the number on the back of the credit card you used for this purchase, explain to them that the merchandise was not received, the order has been canceled, you have received this letter, and you want to dispute the charge.
    We sincerely apologize for this trouble. If you need further assistance please submit a new ticket with the subject of refund due. Thank you.
    Sincerely,
    The Cellular-Blowout Staff.

    PLEASE NOTE: Do not reply to this email. It will go nowhere.”

    This happened to me last year. Exactly the same, I was trying to buy a gift for my friend in NY and regretted the day I ever stumbled upon their website.
