adobe india developer olympiadAdobe India is conducting a contest for students (Adobe Developer Olympiad) on the development of Rich Internet Application using Flex /ColdFusion technologies. The objective of this contest is to get the student community excited about Adobe’s RIA products and bring out innovative ideas. This contest is open to any student of a recognized university in India and there are 3 categories where students can submit their work. For each category there is prize money of Rs 50,000 for the winner.

The contest will have three broad categories:

  1. Engineering
  2. Applications
  3. Flex ColdFusion Integration

Important dates:

What When
Receiving the proposals 10th Jan 2007
Receiving the prototypes 31st Jan 2007
Receiving the complete implementation 27th Feb 2007
Winners announced! 10th Mar 2007

Download and learn flex, coldfusion by following technical documentation. This is probably the first of its kind and also the fact that, it is only for students makes it an event that you don’t want to miss. They also have a students forum where you can discuss the problems you face while rigging up your entry and get some help 😀
