Do we need the new iPod shuffle???

Apple recenlty released the world’s smallest digital music player. Measuring 1.07 inches X 1.62 inches with a inbuilt clip to tag it on to any part of your attire (sleeves or pockets it doesn’t matter), this small device is just going to mesmerise you forever. Priced at just $79, it not only has a storage of 1 gb, but has a play time of 12 hours when completely charged up (At least Apple claims so).

The world’s smallest digital music player and just $79, the 1GB iPod shuffle lets you wear up to 240 songs on your sleeve. Or your lapel. Or your belt. Clip on iPod shuffle and wear it as a badge of musical devotion.

One size fits all

You know what they say about good things and small packages. But when something 1.62 inches long and about half an ounce holds up to 240 songs, “good” and “small” don’t quite cut it. Especially when you can listen to your music for up to 12 continuous hours. In fact, iPod shuffle just may be the biggest thing in small.

Also the new iPod requires you to run the all new iTune version 7, available at the Apple site for free download. iTune 7 has a few interesting updates including the iPod games section (More on that later).

Apple guys if you are reading this, why don’t you do us all a favor and make sure iTunes can update by itself everytime i log on the net, instead of me having to download a 30 mb chunk of file every other week for just a small update. It pisses me off, everytime I see the flash “A new version of iTunes is available. Would you like to download it”. Why can’t they just modify the software so that it can adapt itself to changes?

Getting back to the all new small iPod which is making big news in the media industry, I would definitely recommend it for a b’day gift to a very close friend (C’mon $79 isn’t much). But if you want to buy it for yourself: You have your whole life ahead, DON’T buy it 😛

    Thanks. Keep Clicking.

    Djakeel:
Sure seems nice. But I wonder why iRiver didn’t click in India.

The first one was bad… this one looks better but way to small.
    I hate updating iTunes too.

  5. Hey Chuck,
I actually agree with you. This one looks sleek when compared to the previous shuffle…

  6. I’ve been surfing on-line more than 3 hours nowadays, yet I never discovered any interesting article like yours. It’s
pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and
bloggers made good content as you probably did, the net will likely
be a lot more useful than ever before.

Actually no matter if someone doesn’t understand after
that its up to other people that they will help,
    so here it takes place.
