Software repositories for SUSE Linux

These are websites which have a list of packages and from where you can install missing packages or update existing packages for SUSE (Refer Previous Article). There are a number of such repositories. You can find a BIG list here
Refer the previous article for learning how to add these repositories as installation sources. Enable the sources and keep refresh On so that the new packages are located.
To install new software, go to Software Management in YaST. It will take time while reading packages if it is the first time you are using the repositories as sources. You can then search for keywords of the required software and then install them They will be downloaded from the net and installed by YaST.

All your packages are now up to date! And you no longer need to search for that new package you’ve always wanted to install or figure out how. Easy as pie.
