The following is an excellent video tutorial regarding how one can use Bluetooth to hack a cellular phone by using Super Bluetooth hacking software. Super Bluetooth Hack will make it extremely easy to hack cellular phones thru Bluetooth and turn into a Bluetooth spy. It is so simple to do.

The video instruction is how to hack a Sony Ericsson and a Nokia cellular phone through Bluetooth using the Super Bluetooth Hack.

Download the computer program titled “Super Bluetooth Hack” (a.k.a. “BT Info“) @ http://uploading.com/files/7CSW1TEE/SuperBluetoothHack_v108.zip.html

When you use the Super Bluetooth Hack, you will be able to do the following things on the “hacked” cellular phone:

1. Read and open SMS
2. Open their phone book
3. Change a profile
4. Play their ringtones even when the “hacked” cellular phone is on “silent”
5. Play mp3′s

6. Turn off the cellular phone or even restart the phone
7. Restore the phone to the original factory settings
8. Change the volume of the ringer
9. Make and receive calls from the “hacked” phone (you can even place the call on hold and make another call)

What to do

1.) Use “0000″ as the code when the cellular phones are connecting.
2.) The Bluetooth should be turned on for both phones before you begin running the BT file application. If you don’t remember to turn it on, close out the application and run it again.
3.) Download the data file.
5.) Send and extract the Super Bluetooth Hack version 108.jar to your own cellular phone to open the file.

What to do for a Sony Ericsson cellular phone using a standard USB cable:
1. Connect the cellular phone to the computer.
2. It will mount as a disk.
3. Move the file that you’ve downloaded (Super Bluetooth Hack version 108.jar) to the following file: /MSSEMC/Media files/other/ on that disk (your phone).
4. Unplug the USB line from the cellular phone.
5. Go to the “Other” folder on the phone.
6. You will see a new application. Install it by clicking the “Install” button.
7. The computer program is established on the place where you specify. Typically, the file will be in the Application’s folder.

Switch the language to English:
If by chance that the software starts with “Slovencina” as the language, you now can switch it to English this way:
1. if you begin the application program for the very first time, you will see the word “Nastavenia.”
2. Scroll down until the word, “Jazyk” is displayed.
3. Click the choose button.
4. Choose the “English” for your preference.
5. Click on “More”.
6. Lastly, click the Spat” button.
7. The program is now in English.

Most of us can’t imagine a day without the search engines and especially the one starting with the big “G”! When ever we need some information the first thing we tend to do is key it in the search bar. Many times we don’t find what we need and at times what we are looking for may have got buried in the list down some where and and all the lazy peeps like me will never even tend to scroll down and find it. Ergo looks like a very good option and it gathers the information from various sources and presents it in a single step.

Ergo is basically a Desktop search and if you ask me how it is -”simply awesome”. One thing which i liked very much is the super cool interface. It has given a new dimension to searching and gives the various options to the end user. It can be either visualized as connected lists from where you can navigate to the desired result or simply in the normal list format. The pen mode and Ink notes are some nice add on features. Just download ergo and give it a shot!

Dell to sell computers with Ubuntu Linux distros

Dell is to provide the Ubuntu distro on its machines to customers seeking an alternative from the Windows operating system. Responding to a barrage of requests on its Ideastorm discussion board, Dell will now sell both desktops and laptops with Ubuntu pre-installed. The choice of the version is 7.04 code-named Feisty Fawn. This could however put-off customers who are more comfortable with Windows that Linux, an OS that is a choice of the tech savvy enthusiast, a major point being lack of certain drivers for Linux and usability issues.

Ubuntu is reputed to be a very user-friendly distro.

Hackers anticipate launch of Windows Vista in 2007

Cyber criminals of the world have already started testing the new version of Microsoft’s much touted Vista operating system and are trying to find critical flaws so that they can uleash malicious software and bugs into the coumputers of unsuspecting users. According to the BBC , the launch of the Vista will be a major event for computer security in 2007.

Firefox 2.0 is out!

After months of waiting, it’s finally here! Firefox 2.0 – get it now

As for changes, at first glance it’s got a whole new glossier (web 2.0-ish?) look. The main change that I noticed over the previous version is that many features like the tab manager and session restore which were available as extensions earlier are now defaault items. There is a new phishing filter and the new version claims to provide better security and safer browsing.

Another thing I noticed (and was thankful for) was that everything is now more polished, with text not going beyond the box width and buttons not overlapping on one another in options screens. An excellent addon is the spell checker, that checks spelling rel time as you type into any text box – real neat! Google and Yahoo searches in the search box come with a Suggest option and there is now a search engine manager.

Unlike other reports that I’ve seen elsewhere, I don’t think there’s any big change in the startup time or memory usage, but the new version does seem to be far more stable than before, crashing less often. Unfortunately, some of my favourite extensions and themes don’t work with version 2.0, but we can hope that their developers will soon upgrade.

The new link buttons for Firefox 2.0 also look pretty cool

Definitely worth the upgrade, it’s a better Firefox – our favourite web browser.

Proto – Demo your Product

India’s IT gaints have done nothing to foster technological innovation. Although they have built multi-billion-dollar businesses by providing outsourced IT services, they haven’t really created new intellectual property. India’s much -touted prowess rests merely on labour arbitrage.

Having said that, it is true that India has the potential to become a technological innovation hotspot. It must be noted that, it won’t be the IT majors who make this happen, but startups. There is no surprise in this. The world over, startups play a larger-than-life-role in technological innovation, with no existing market to lose, they tend to take bigger risks.

The good news is that India is today on the cusp of significant change: There is a sudden profusion of technology startups around the country, and the supporting infrastructure is falling in place. With this in mind a dedicated team (Knowledge Foundation) is organizing PROTO. Proto is a platform for the networking of Venture Capitalists (VCs), enterprenuers, startups, companies, techies and definitely the media.

The idea is to combine the strengths of DEMO and BarCamp together. Ofcourse the event can’t take the form of an Unconference. Thank god for that . Techies all around India can participate in this event, by submitting their proposed model, software, web 2.0 product or just about anything that relates to the software industry. After a base level screening for the originality and the credibility of the product, the person will be alloted a time slot to present his prototype in front of an audience consisting of entreprenuers/VCs, companies. This two day event is a good networking platform. Everyone is benifitted.

This event is still in the planning stage and should take a month or two to take shape. So hold your seats and work on your PROTO

You might be interested to know that Java, riya.com, krugle etc. were launched at Demo. If we even get a few good product launched at the Proto which revolutionize the Indian IT industry, I would be happy.

Become A pro Podcaster: part 2

Now that we have introduced you to the basic requirements to become a podcaster in the first part. We now go into the details of recording your podcasts. This can be done off the computer or by using the computer.

Recording Off the computer:

There are times when you want to record your music band’s composition or your conference lectures which you may want to podcast. The simplest thing is to get hold of a silicon based digital music player which comes with a voice recording option. This device usually records audio in MP3 or WAV format which can later be transferred to your computer for editing.

By Using the Computer:

To do the recording over a computer a basic recording software is required. While the voice recorder provide by windows may at times suffice, it would be better if you used some better software such as Audacity which also allows stereo recording (in case you are using more than one mic). use of a sampling rate of 44100Hz and a default sample format of 16 bit is good recording practise.

At times you might want to conduct and record a podcast interview with someone else living abroad. In such cases we suggest that you use Messengers such as Gizmo or Skype, which have an option by which you can record your conversations into a wav file. In all the above cases a few things have to be done which will help you during the edit stage:

Always record the ambient noise. That is record a few minutes of silence, this will help you filterout ambient noise during edit stage.
In case you are recording using a stand mic make sure that your mic does not pickup feedback from the speakers.
Make sure that the recording device is placed at the center in case of an interview, and in any case is always away from other external noise sources.
Make sure that all your computer speakers are turned off and try to use headphones whenever possible.
Try to use written scripts as and when possible.
Do not run background music during record time. If at all a BGM is to be added this can de done separately while editing.

Firefox lovers, one more reason for you to smile. Your favourite browser’s ver2.0 beta is going to be out soon. Mozilla is ready with version 2.0 of its much famed firefox browser and it has got some exciting features.

The things that you can expect from it are:

# Protection against phishing scams, using technology that comes from Google.

# Improved RSS support.

# A new history option, with ‘open recently closed tabs’ feature.

# An inbuilt spell check that will work on all text fields.

Though the RSS integration is not great, yet it is far better than that available in firefox 1.5 ( the current stable version). The history menu, previously unavailable in ver1.5 seems to be a very welcome tool. But the best of the package is the built in antiphishing tool that is being developed with the help of Google.

P.S here is a useful hack to enable your ver1.5 plugins to work with the ver2.0 beta. Type “about:config” in the address bar, right-click and create a New String. Call the new preference value “app.extensions.version” and give it the number (e.g., 1.5.0.4) of the version you want extensions to think you’re using.When you install an extension, it will look to this preference value (if it exists) rather than your actual version number when it’s checking compatibility.

Flock is the new kid on the browser block. It’s still in the Beta stage but there has been a steady development ever since the first beta version was released. Flock is a social networking oriented browser that is being developed based on Mozilla technologies. Quoting from the Wikipedia article on Flock:

Bookmarks, in addition to being saved offline, can be replaced with del.icio.us. When a bookmark (known as a favorite) is added, it is added to one’s del.icio.us account

This blog post has been published using the built-in blog editor in Flock. It allows you to write and publish blogs to different websites and even gives you the option of tagging your post and submits your posts to Technorati.

Most of the features of flock are available to Firefox users as extensions, so in that way it does not have a very great advantage over Firefox (for e.g. Performancing is a blog editor extension for Firefox). New extensions are being released which are Flock-specific and many Firefox extensions are avaiable for Flock too.

There are still some very obvious flaws with the browser that need to be ironed out. The next beta release is scheduled for September, 2006. Till then you can check out the features of the current version.

Yahoo! Messenger 8 Beta

Yahoo! have brought out the Beta version for their popular IM Client, Yahoo! Messenger 8. There are minor changes in the interface but the main new feature this time is the introduction of Plug-ins to Yahoo! Messenger. You can get the Yahoo! Messenger Plug-in SDK here. A list of user-submitted Plug-ins can be found here. This is a great addition to Y! Messenger and it is in line with the continuing trend of different software developers providing SDKs for user customisation, probably the next best thing to open source software.

Some other new features provided as built-in plugins are access to random questions on Yahoo! Answers (giving only part of the question, tempting you to click on it and get redirected to their website) and updates on Yahoo! 360.

Yahoo! have been talking about a possible merging of MSN Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger contacts, but that has not been implemented as of now.

Google has brought out the latest installment of one of it's more popular softwares – Google Earth.

The new version boasts of new features, including a new interface, textured 3D buildings, integration with Google Sketchup and a new way to share and implement user-generated terrain and locations. It has a larger viewing area with the navigation panel taking up less space hovering over the viewing area, and visible only when in use.
Google now encourages users to submit models and textures, as well as terrain and details using the available APIs for Google Earth and Google Sketchup.

More areas of the world are now displayed with higher resolution and Chennai/Tamil Nadu users will be delighted to know that they can finally zoom in better than before (I could spot my house! )

The latest version works on Windows 2000/XP, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
Google Earth has been much talked about ever since it's release and it only seems to be getting better, with more detail and features with each newer version.
